Who we are

LicenseReady provides exam-preparation courses for Florida contractor licensing exams. Contact us through the support link in the app.

What we collect

• Email address — to create your account and sign you in. We use passwordless sign-in links; there is no password to store.
• Study progress— questions answered, scores, review schedules, and study-plan settings. If you study without an account, this stays in your browser's local storage and never reaches our servers.
• Purchase records — payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Stripe shares with us your email, the purchase, and its payment status.
• Technical basics — server logs (IP address, browser type) for security and debugging.

What we do not do

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not run third-party advertising trackers. We do not collect sensitive personal information. The service is not directed to children under 18.

Why we use your data

To provide the service (account, sync, purchases), send study reminders you have turned on, send service emails (receipts, sign-in links), send occasional product updates (opt out anytime), and meet legal obligations such as tax and accounting records.

Cookies & local storage

We use first-party cookies and local storage for sign-in sessions and to save your study progress. No advertising cookies.

Service providers

Supabase (authentication & database), Stripe (payments), and our hosting and email-delivery providers. Each processes data only on our instructions, and we will keep this list current as providers change.

Your choices

Unsubscribe from marketing via the link in any email. Request deletion of your account and progress data through the support link in the app — we delete within 30 days, except purchase records we must keep for tax and accounting purposes.

Security & breaches

Passwordless sign-in means there is no password to steal. Data is encrypted in transit. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by law, including Fla. Stat. §501.171.

Changes

We will post changes here and update the effective date; material changes will be emailed to account holders.
