LicenseReady

Terms of Service

Effective date: June 11, 2026

1. Agreement

By creating an account or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be 18 or older.

2. What LicenseReady is — and isn't

LicenseReady is an independent exam-preparation service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by the Florida DBPR, the Construction Industry Licensing Board, or Professional Testing, Inc. All practice questions are original works created by LicenseReady; they are not actual examination questions. Exam-structure information comes from publicly available DBPR publications. Third-party product names (e.g., AIA contract documents, ACCA manuals) are trademarks of their owners, used only to identify the referenced works.

3. No guarantee of outcomes

Studying with LicenseReady does not guarantee that you will pass any examination or obtain any license. Exam content, formats, rules, and licensing requirements are set by the State of Florida and may change; you are responsible for confirming current requirements with the DBPR.

4. Your license to the content

Purchases grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-commercial license to access the course for 12 months from purchase. You may not copy, scrape, share, resell, or publish our questions, explanations, or guides, or share your account.

5. Purchases, refunds & the Pass Guarantee

One-time purchases are processed by Stripe; prices are shown at checkout. Standard refunds: full refund within 7 days of purchase if fewer than 10% of the course's questions have been attempted. Pass Guarantee: if you reach Exam Ready status in your course (a readiness score of 85 or higher, including at least two passed full-length timed simulations) and then do not pass the corresponding Florida examination, we will refund that course purchase in full — submit your official score report through the support link in the app within 30 days of your exam date. One guarantee claim per course purchase.

6. Acceptable use

No scraping, automated access, or account sharing. Do not post or submit content recalled from actual licensing examinations — reproducing state examination content is a crime under Florida law (Fla. Stat. §455.2175); we will remove such content and may report it.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. If we terminate your account without cause, we will refund the unused portion of your purchase.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is"; to the extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Educational content may contain errors, and statutes and codes change — the official sources control.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages (including exam fees, lost wages, or lost business opportunities). Nothing here limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Governing law & disputes

Florida law governs these Terms. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified by email or in-app and apply prospectively.
